Following months of strategic acquisitions, Prologis UK has announced the high-profile appointment of Jason Longhurst as UK Head of Sustainable Investment & Partnerships, a newly-created role for the company.

Jason joins Prologis from his role as Strategic Director of Place at the Bradford City Metropolitan District Council, where he defined its new growth offer as the UK’s leading Clean Growth City and delivered the first national testbed location for sustainable development. He continues as Chair of UK Business Council for Sustainable Development (UKBCSD) at national level as he moves to the private sector after 27 years in public sector.

As Chair for both the UKBCSD’s Mainstreaming Sustainable Development Goals Board and the South East Consortium Climate Change Solutions Board, Jason is a leading voice in sustainable construction nationally. He also sits on the UK Business Group Alliance for Net Zero and SME Net Zero Working Group for Business Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

At Prologis, Jason will lead on public, private and trade sector engagement on wide-ranging agenda areas including innovation, market disruption and sustainable economic growth as well as aiming to positively increase the role of the industrial & logistics sector within society and drive new growth opportunities at a critical time for the economy.
