“We have been blown away by people’s support and generosity and I would like to thank each and every person who cycled, donated or sponsored this year’s event.”

Over the past eleven years, cyclists from Prologis, its agents and supply chain have ridden around France, across the Alps, through the Lake District, and over the Yorkshire Dales, raising vital funds for a wide range of charities. This year, although we couldn’t physically come together to ride through the Worcestershire countryside, we still managed to hold the Prologis 100 event (albeit virtually or socially distanced) and raise an amazing £14,000 for three worthy charities.

This year the challenge was simple: to see how far people could cycle in 100 minutes and we can’t thank those who supported the event enough for their unwavering support and creative solutions. Some rode exercise bikes and took part virtually, others ventured out on solo rides and some even hooked up trailers to the back of their bikes and took their children (or dogs) along for the ride.

Together, our riders covered 1024 miles and raised £14,000 for charity: £7,500 of this will be donated to Land Aid, – a charity working to improve the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. This year, the charity has been working hard to support young homeless people during the COVID-19 crisis and we are delighted to be helping this very worthy cause. The remaining money will be split equally between Acorns Children’s Hospice and Wishes 4 Kids.

Paul Weston, regional head of Prologis UK said: “This has been a challenging year for so many people and many charities have been unable to run the fundraising events on which they rely so heavily. For this reason we were determined that the Prologis 100 should still go ahead in some form so that we could continue to give back to the charities who support our industry and the local communities in which our Prologis Parks are based.
