It is our pleasure to announce that Toolstation is joining us at Prologis Park Pineham, securing a 493,098 sq. ft building, and filling the last spot on the park.
Part of the Northampton-based Travis Perkins Group, Toolstation is one of the largest national trade and DIY retailers, with over 500 UK branches. The company will take on a 15-year lease for a brand-new logistics building, with plans to move in once construction and fit-out is completed in July 2022.
In line with our own focus on sustainability, Toolstation’s new building will meet the highest sustainability and carbon reduction standards, with added features such as solar PV on the roof and a target BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating.
As a company, we are proud to support Toolstation’s ongoing expansion. With 60 new branches opening each year, alongside the rapid growth of online and digital orders seen in the past 18 months, this move will only benefit the company as it continues to develop.
Located in the logistics ‘golden triangle’ at the heart of the UK’s motorway network, Toolstation will be joining our other customers including BMW, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons at Prologis Park Pineham. Having a facility at this prime logistics location will help Toolstation continue to service its customers effectively and keep goods and services moving around the country.
