If the past 17 months have taught us anything, it’s the importance of green spaces to our health and wellbeing. During the pandemic, we’ve been encouraged to see both park employees and members of the local community enjoying our country parks, fitness trails and picnic areas, that’s why, during Love Parks Week, we want to celebrate all those things that make our Prologis Parks special.

At Prologis, we put people at the heart of everything we do. That’s why, across our network of Prologis Parks, we provide a range of amenities including country parks, nature reserves, cycleways, outdoor exercise trails and walking routes. Our aim is to create spaces which are sustainable, promote wellbeing and are great places to work and relax.

Walking has become a popular and regular pastime during the pandemic and many studies have revealed that time spent outdoors has a positive effect on not only our physical health but our mental health as well. That’s why we’re passionate about providing green spaces on and around our parks, enabling park employees to spend valuable time outdoors during their rest breaks and allowing the local community to access these spaces for recreational purposes.

We’ve always known that green spaces are good news for wildlife, but the pandemic has really highlighted the importance of these spaces for our general health and wellbeing. From dog walking and running, through to family picnics and lunchtime fitness classes, we’re encouraged to see the many and varied ways in which the spaces on and around our parks are being used to promote wellbeing and we’re committed to loving, protecting and respecting our parks for the benefit of everyone.
