Prologis has agreed a 10-year lease for a new 330,000 sq ft unit, currently under construction at Prologis Park Ryton in Coventry. An international Third Party Logistics Company will be moving into DC9, which is due for completion in the summer.

Like all new Prologis UK’s buildings since 2014, DC9 at Prologis Park Ryton will meet the highest standards of sustainability to meet net zero carbon emissions in construction. Additionally, the building will aim to be BREEAM ‘Excellent’   as well as achieving an EPC A rating .

Alongside the development, Prologis are further enhancing the Parklife offering with the creation of a new walking route around Prologis Park Ryton, for the benefit of all occupiers at the park and wider community – creating a space where employees, residents and wildlife can flourish.

Located at the heart of the UK’s automotive network and with easy access to six motorways, Prologis Park Ryton has proven to be one of the most sought after logistics locations in the UK. Our newest customer will join Jaguar Land Rover and London Electric Vehicle Company at Ryton, in one of the fastest growing economic areas in the country.

Tom Price, capital deployment and leasing director at Prologis UK, commented: “Welcoming our newest customer at Ryton is testament to the growing demand for prime logistics real estate space right now – with many of our speculative developments being leased before completion.

“We’re extremely proud that we’ve been able to provide a high quality facility in a prime location and expand our existing park. Not only that, at Prologis we’re proud to create spaces where employees enjoy coming to work and which benefit the local communities we serve. That’s why we’re pleased to be able to give back, with the creation of a new walking path as part of our PARKlife scheme ”
