Having been based in Bromley, Kent for over 120 years, it was time for luxury shoe and handbag brand, Russell & Bromley, to modernise its logistics and distribution operations.

To support their future growth ambitions, Russell & Bromley made the move to a new national distribution centre in Corby, at the heart of the logistics ‘Golden Triangle’ in the East Midlands and wanted to ensure that their facility was fitted out to the highest possible specification.

Danny provided consultancy to Russell & Bromley on the options available that would turn their empty warehouse into an efficient, space-optimised operation. 

Balancing a range of customer requirements, including the number of pallet spaces and workflow at the site, the end Prologis Essentials solution included high bay pallet racking and lithium-ion forklift trucks. 

Through weekly project meetings, our customer-centric approach shone through and it wasn’t long before the partnership expanded to include full mechanical and electrical works, installation of a sustainable warehouse heating system, LED lighting, fire alarms, CCTV and data cabling and even the procurement of office and canteen furniture.
