Darren Freed

Darren is a Director within the Real Estate & Customer Service team. His role creates and executes value add business plan strategies to maximise income and capital returns. His experience grows the Asset Management side of the Prologis UK business, with a focus on deployment of business plan strategies, placemaking and value add opportunities.

His remit includes strategic lifecycle asset management and repositioning older assets. This ensures assets earmarked for redevelopment are capable of being converted to sites ready for capital deployment. Darren works with a variety of stakeholders across the entire EU business to drive occupancy, value, and NOI improvements. 

Darren joined Prologis following his role as Director, Real Assets at Aviva Investors, where he had been responsible for repositioning assets totalling £2bn AUM across their real estate business.

Darren brings to Prologis 20 years’ of experience with specialism in Asset & Fund Management, Commercial Real Estate Development and JV stakeholder management. He was previously responsible for asset managing direct UK Real Estate across a range of asset classes, running a team of asset managers across a variety of Funds. Prior to Aviva, Darren was formerly at Hammerson and JLL. Darren is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
